Emporium Arcade on the Northampton Market Square. The buildings were demolished to make way for the Grosvenor Centre but the memory lives on.
Artist Mark Kennedy – I’m born and bred in Northampton and have a huge passion for the town’s history. We have some wonderful buildings, parks and surrounding countryside. I wanted to capture some timeless scenes from the town and county in glorious, nostalgic black and white. My Northampton illustrations are sketched using pencil by hand, and has then been digitally manipulated to come up with the final image.
A black and white art print of the much loved and missed, Emporium Arcade that stood proudly on the Market Square of Northampton. The buildings were demolished to make way for the Grosvenor Centre but the memory lives on.
Ideal gift for anyone from Northampton.
